How lucky, then, that I took some pictures of sun and colours on Saturday, just to remind me it'll come round again :)

All good things come to an end...
Like the really nice weather we've had recently.
How lucky, then, that I took some pictures of sun and colours on Saturday, just to remind me it'll come round again :)

Nerdfest
Went to see LotR - The Fellowship of the Ring at the Royal Albert Hall last night. Friend bought tickets months ago and was it worth the wait!
The London Philarmonic Orchestra were performing the score live, impressive.
I'd seen the trilogy on DVD but boy, does it need the big screen. I'm looking forward to seeing Helm's Deep next year. I can't imagine how great it must be to see it at the cinema rather than a little 17" computer monitor!
I got out of the tube at Knightsbridge and jumped on a bus as I was running a bit late, and already that was full of nerdy blokes. The nerdometer blew off the scale once I reached the RAH. Friend even saw some hobbits.
Of course, the RAH itself is magnificent as ever.

Home of the Gods
This was the sky over London today, looking South from Suicide Bridge in Hornsey/Highgate. Unfortunately I'd taken my old phone with me instead of the one with the brilliant camera, but still, what's not to love?

Neither are we, Ma'am
But we have to live with the jerk.
Our only hope is that one of these days some of the cosmetic procedures will go fatally wrong, or right, depending on the point of view.
